Say hello to the East Coast gang! Well some of us at least. Playing bridge after a seriously long time. Tiang Lim just loves to make crazy bids and drag his partners down with him but heck that's the fun of it! Hanging out at Yean Ching's room draped comfortably at all corners of the bed. I love how I am kept up to date on all the current inside jokes and secret going ons in just a short catch up session. Brother-by-extension!

Josephine and Wei Way came back to KL for a visit and they crashed in my room! My fan chose this exact time to break down. Phew I felt hot but somehow these two didn't. Strange, no? Their babi-ness, lameness and mistress love affairs are damn funny. They are the biggest kids I know stuck in the lives of 24 year olds haha. Pasar malam visit was absolutely fabulous!

Girls from left: Mei Cher, Lilean, Patricia and 1 guy: JC

Dropped by Arts for Grabs with Patricia one Sunday. Its this bazaar selling tonnes of arts, crafts and other cool stuff. It was also a forum of sorts that week for human sexuality rights. Eye opener really. The bunch of us made friends with Cassie from Cassettee. She handmade this adorable little purse with a handdrawn lomo camera on it. Patricia and I immediately thought of getting it for the lomo enthusiast Mei Cher. Perfect belated/early birthday present! =)

Mooncake festival came and went with a tiny celebration at the condominum opposite my own. There was some miscommunication, I was supposed to buy the lanterns but I didn't realise that so we ended up not having lanterns at all, just lots of candles. Which was still fun!

Kubrick

I bought a tortoise today.
His name is Kubrick.
He/she is named after Stanley Kubrick.
The director I affectionately describe as terribly insane.
Kubrick is the cutest little thing!
But I don't like tortoises when they grow big.
So how now?

UPDATE (25/9):
Actually Kubrick was bought to starr in our wonderful VP2 short drama.
So technically he doesn't really belong to me haha he/she belongs to my production team. And the team has decided to give Kubrick away to Kenji (Jolene's nephew) as his birthday present. He was super excited about it! So bye bye Kubrick. It has been a nice week having you around =)
